LHPOA, or Lakewood Hills Property Owners Association, is a voluntary organization. It is primarily established to help maintain the neighborhood, property values, and common properties in Lakewood Hills.

LHPOA membership is optional. It is for property owners whose lots are part of the covenant and who want to use the beach, rent the clubhouse, leave a boat down at the pond, or attend LHPOA-sponsored activities.

Beginning in January 2027, your Lakewood Hills lot must be bound by the covenants in order to apply for membership to LHPOA. If your property is not bound by the covenants and you want to use the LHPOA amenities, you will be required to complete a joinder document and register it with the Barnstsable County Registry of Deeds before applying for membership. Once your lot is bound by the covenants, LHPOA membership can be purchased at the beginning of each calendar year. The "Become a Member" page of the website is being revamped.
